About Hometown Trail Days

About us

welcome

Hometown Trail Days is the first event of its kind to take place in the beautiful scenic mountains of McDowell County, West Virginia. Hometown Trail Days is the only ATV/SXS event to offer guided tours of local, unmarked trails. The event will take place in the Town of Bradshaw on May 19th and 20th, 2023. Hometown Trail Days will host multiple ATV/SXS events which include:

  • Guided trail rides
  • Poker run
  • Tug of war
  • Parade
  • Mud events
    • Dirt bike/ATV/SXS drag races
    • Obstacle course
    • Mud run.

This event has been a collaborative effort of the Town of Bradshaw, McDowell County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Getting Outdoors with Mike and Yvonne, Brookshier Farm Vacation Rentals, Fullhouse Creative Design, Hillbilly Used ATV Parts & Repairs and Mullins Excavation. We have all worked diligently to organize events for dirt bike, ATV and SXS enthusiasts to showcase what McDowell County and the Town of Bradshaw have to offer.

We hope that you will join us at Hometown Trail Days in May and come back to visit us often. We want you to make our hometown YOUR hometown.

The team of Hometown Trail Days would like to welcome our newest addition to the team Elliot Godfrey, Elijah Godfrey and Adam Beavers. Elliot owns Hillbilly’s Used ATV Parts and Repair and he is responsible for the drag race and mud pit/obstacle course creation. Elliot is in charge of all aspects of the mud event area. We are very excited and fortunate to have Elliot on board our team. Adam and Elijah will be assisting Elliot with track creation and running of the mud events. The Town of Bradshaw is very blessed to have people in the community that are willing to volunteer their time to make this event a success.
